Finding Companies YOU Might Want to Work For

Today I want to share a quick and easy tip for you to *find companies you might be interested in working for...

One easy way to find companies in your industry is to look at the website for a conference that's specific to your industry and then click on the section where they highlight the Sponsors.

Let's take the wastewater industry as an example. The largest organization in the U.S. focused on municipal wastewater is Water Environment Federation (WEF). I went to their website today, clicked on their Upcoming Events, and scrolled down until I found the Residuals and Biosolids conference. Once I clicked on "more info," this is what I got:

In this case, I didn't even have to click on a sponsorship section; there's essentially a slideshow with sponsor logos. You can bet if I were a senior about to graduate with an engineering degree and my interest was digestion or solids management, the companies listed here would *probably interest me.

So, there you go - one easy way to find companies in your niche that might be looking to hire someone talented like yourself!
